ARE FALSE LASHES INCLUDED IN MY SERVICE?

False lashes are always included in every makeup application. However, if you prefer to use your own style, I will be more than happy to apply that pair.

DO YOU WORK WITH LASH EXTENSIONS?

I can work with your already applied / already existing lash extensions, however, it may not create the full makeup look that I typically prefer. I do not offer lash extension services as I am not a certified lash technician or have experience to apply lash extensions.

HOW SHOULD I PREP MY FACE FOR MY MAKEUP APPLICATION?

Bare faced that is cleaned and washed by the time you’re sitting in my chair. You may moisturize lightly if your face is feeling really tight/dry. The night before, after washing your face, gently exfoliate, and follow-up with moisturizer will really help in enhancing the makeup application the following day. It is highly encouraged to start prepping your skin as early as possible, (weeks/months) leading up to your wedding day.

WILL YOU BE WORKING ON ALL THE SERVICES ON A WEDDING DAY?

Although I do not employ an official team under my company name, I work with a wide network of trusted artists that have years of experience in bridal hair & makeup, in which I contract out for each wedding based off each individual’s availability and skill. To further disclose and as stated in my contract, I am not responsible for the representation of those that I employ or recommend. For wedding days, my main focus is always the bride. I will take up to 3 makeup services before the bride, but usually nothing more than 4 services before the bride.

DO YOU TRAVEL / OFFER DESTINATION WEDDINGS?

If the location is more than 100 miles (round-trip) and with an early bird start time (i.e. 4:00 AM), client will be in charge of hosting an overnight stay for artist(s) to ensure safety of arrival; more details to be discussed during the booking process.

If you are looking to have a destination wedding such as out of the state or country, I’m more than happy to travel to you! Check out our investments page for more information.

WHERE IS YOUR STUDIO LOCATED?

I’m currently only offering mobile services. I no longer have a base studio location that I work out of. However, my starting location is Pasadena, California. Anywhere that’s outside will incur a travel fee based on mileage.

DO YOU PROVIDE A TIMELINE?

Timelines are created as soon as your booking is confirmed. That way, you have access to sharing this information with your other wedding vendors (i.e.: planners, photographers, videographers, etc.) to plan accordingly. I also like to create this early so that there is room to make adjustments ahead of time.

WHY SHOULD YOU BOOK WITH ME?

You will not only gain a makeup artist, but also a friend. It is my absolute joy to make you feel comfortable while looking and feeling your absolute best. I always say that compliments that come from significant others, friends, and strangers after you get your makeup done is the best compliment; however more importantly, as long as you feel beautiful when you see yourself. I also pride myself on my professionalism and quality customer service to you from the moment you inquire to the completion of the booking. Once I receive a deposit from you confirming our booking; a detailed timeline, open communication in the meantime, and a confirmation text on the week before your appointment ensures my commitment and quality of service for you, the client. If you’re a new bride, don’t forget to check my letter to you. Click here to read it!

WHAT IS SOFT GLAM TO YOU?

Soft Glam to me is the result of allowing your features to be enhanced in a more polished and clean way in which you will still be able to recognize yourself.

DO YOU WORK WITH SENSITIVE SKIN?

I have an array of clientele that have minor skin sensitivities to extreme skin sensitivities. I am efficient and flexible when it comes to navigating skin concerns and skin allergies, however, I am not a medically trained professional. By mitigating reactions, I ask that you be honest when it comes to disclosing your history of allergies and sensitivities to skin/cosmetic products. I am open to using your personal tools and products if you’re more comfortable with that option.

HOW SHOULD I PLAN FOR YOUR ARRIVAL?

I typically arrive carrying 4-6 heavy + bulky items with me that consists of:

  • Lights

  • Chair

  • Suitcase

  • Briefcase

  • Tote Bag

Providing a clean and clear space that allows room for me to set-up is ideal, here are some things to consider:

  • Getting ready on the first level with an open space floor plan of any building is ideal: (i.e. living room, dining room, patio, etc.)

  • In front of natural lighting (i.e.: a large window, doorway, etc.)

  • With a cleared off table space + electrical outlets nearby

  • Away from any distractions, so you can relax and enjoy your makeup experience

Please avoid these areas when planning to have your makeup done:

  • Bathroom

  • Kitchen

  • Upstairs Bedroom
